Often imitated but never equaled, the Gryo family of fans is made by Minka Aire and offers truly unique style and grace. Gyro ceiling fans come in an array of finishes and are suitable for bedrooms, dining rooms, family rooms, and living rooms. Several models are also rated for outdoor use, making the Gyro a fan you can incorporate into nearly any space.

There are seven models of Gyros. These high performance twin turbo fans are 42″ in diameter and come in transitional, traditional, and contemporary styles. Each model offers a different finish. Choose from oil rubbed bronze, Belcaro Walnut, Sterling Walnut, Restoration Bronze, brushed nickel wet, brushed nickel with chrome accents, and white. With so many choices, finding a Gyro to match your style is an easy task.

Each Gyro fan includes a mini-can halogen bulb; but, you don’t have to use it. These unique fans offer the ability to skip the light fixture by adding the included non-light cap. You can easily switch between a lighted or non-lighted fixture as your mood changes.

Each Gyro fan comes with a wall mount remote control system for maximum usability. The best part however is that each fan can rotate and spin at its own speed and axis. This will allow maximum air circulation unlike the traditional ceiling fan with only one direction.

For the rough outdoors, three transitional designs are offered. The finishes available includes the oil rubbed bronze, brushed nickel wet and even white. So, regardless of your patio’s design, whether it’s Zen or traditional, these fans will fit into it in no time.

With their sleek styling, beautiful finishes, and unique airflow, Gyro ceiling fans are an interesting and appealing addition to your space. Whether you choose to use your fan with or without light, at alternating or symmetrical angles, your Gyro is sure to be a favorite conversation piece and focal point.

How To Create Special Garden Walling

  • For those of us who are avid gardeners, we take a lot of time to make our garden space attractive. If you want to do the same I am going to teach you how to build your own gaden walling. After your wall is up it serves three purposes, to keep animals out and to keep the earth in your space. They also look nice in your back yard.

The first step is contemplating what type of wall you decide to place around the garden. Next is to choose the construction materials the wall to be made of. Most people use stone, brick or have a stucco treatment. If this is you choice then please consult a contractor and have them install the wall for you.

If you decide that you would like a wood wall, a picket fence is one way to go. The nice things about pickets is that they come in different sizes, you may choose short, medium or tall pickets. If you are worried about the soil slipping through the pickets simply pick up some construction grade plastic to cover the inside of the fencing.

For a more unique looking structure you might choose something like railroad ties for a rustic feel. These are easily connected by long bolts that hold the ties together. Simply build them to the height and length you desire. This will be a solid wall once it is in place.

Holly or boxwood bushes make great living wall for your garden. Make sure that you know how to care for them before you buy them. If you are the kind of person that wants immediate gratification then by all means purchase the mature bushes and plant them. You will have to trim the hedges every now and then, and fertilize them to keep them healthy.

At this point you have an idea of what kind of wall that is right for you. You will have to put some sweat equity into your project. The reward is when you are finished and admiring the way it turns out in the end. Having a wall up will save your garden from being ruined, and it makes great curb appeal.
